[ at least it wasn't the blood-curdling, "help I'm being murdered" kind of scream? small comfort likely given the shock that's still clearly written on Jen's face as she sits on the floor in front of the shower. clothed, too. as if this needed to be any worse.

it looks like she had banged into the glass door of the shower before, which rattled loudly in its track, but thankfully she didn't shatter that. she did just... rip the handle of a towel rack out of the wall in breaking her stumbling fall though. that's on the pile of its towel on the floor with the masonry. on her other side is the glass she uses to store her toothbrush, another broken casualty from her flailing about.

the reason? well. she looks unharmed.

in fact, objectively, she hasn't looked better in... ever. at least her hair. it looks like something straight out of a fancy beauty hair oil treatment commercial's "after" offering shot. you know the "give your hair renewed life, vibrancy, bounce" except real people's hair don't look like that. not unless they're celebrities, or they are wigs, or God has somehow turned up the saturation on the world.

and definitely not after a hot, sweaty afternoon at the gym.

Jen's eyes are clamped shut and she's got her hand on her right arm above the stump. besides sitting tight like a ball and shivering she isn't capable of much else right now. the scene will have to speak for itself for the moment. it will pass. it always does. she just has to. breathe... ]
