Oh my god... [ Kara she is TRYING to maintain COMPOSURE here and - wow it actually feels really interesting to have the soft, fuzzy fabric in between that hand and her skin and focus you useless lesbian.
AHEM. ] D-don't act like you're not interested. [ even as she leans back against Kara, there's a pointed look Lina's way. ]
I can give you privacy! Or you could always go to Jen's room if you don't want anime posters staring down at you the whole time.
[she's in maybe the brightest of spirits right now. yes, she knows what she's saying. she knows what Kara and Jen would be doing in her bed. she's... comfortable, though. she's fine with it, and it almost surprises her that she is. is this growth?]
[ okay this is too much. too much! she can practically feel the steam rising from her face. and were it possible, her hair might have just caught aflame like her cheeks at the implications here. Jen puts her bowl down so that she has enough hands to gently (but firmly!) pull herself out of Kara's grasp.
and, strangely enough, she finds herself moving behind Lina and using her like a shield. ] C-C'mon, you can't just throw me under the bus like that! I thought you were on my side, Lina?
[Kara lets her go, of course, and reaches for her own bowl of food, stuffing some casually in her mouth and chewing, watching Jen and Lina with some small sense of amusement.]
You can relax, Jen. I'm not going to go through Lina to get to you...but it's cute seeing you all blushy
[Lina's struggling to keep her composure and let Jen hide behind her, but hey, her whole deal is protecting people. might as well protect them from ridiculous goofy stuff, too, just like this situation happening right now. g-d, she loves her friends.]
I am on your side! But I'm also on the side of whatever's cutest. And right now, Kara's right. [she turns around to face Jen, but keeps her eye on Kara, too.] You two are probably my favorite couple in the whole city.
Aha, see? [ well, that was said at the first part before Lina showed her true colors. Jen was just in the middle of grabbing her about the waist and using her as a human shield too, sticking her tongue out to Kara and everything.

[oh no... this is so cute that Lina can barely stand it, and she's just. she's so happy right now. she's happy and at peace and she's gay. her arms squeeze a little tighter than either of them might be expecting, though she's almost certain it won't matter to Kara, and it's not like Lina's going to be doing anything dangerous with her strength anyway.]
